Alhambra Rambler is a husband and wife team whose aim is to provide walking and cultural holidays in the Poniente Granadino region of Andalucia in Spain.
Based in the historic town of Alhama de Granada and living within its’ friendly and traditionally Spanish community, Terry and Lisa Mottershead are the partners of this professional yet friendly organisation.
Our holidays are centred on high quality accommodation, scenic and interesting walks and cultural visits to historical places of interest, such as:
- Granada and the Alhambra Palace
- The city of Cordoba and the Mezquita
- Antequera including El Torcal and El Chorro
- Montefrio
- Coastsl towns of Almunecar, Nerja and Torre del Mar
Our holidays include Bed and Breakfast accommodation, evening meals (at the hotel and local traditional restaurants), packed lunches on walking trips (which usually last approximately 3 – 6 hours). Also included in our price is a minibus and ourselves as your transport and guides for the duration of your vacation. This includes airport transfers in Spain from Granada and Malaga International airports.
There are regular holiday specials posted on this website which are designed and priced around specific dates and accommodation.
