At ‘Tailor Made’ we aim to personalise your stay in the Granada region of Andalucia, in Southern Spain. We are based in the town of Alhama de Granada, which is set at the foot of the Sierra Tejeda, part of the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Surrounded by Almond and Olive groves, mountains and lakes, this is an ideal position for the perfect active or walking holiday. Granada and Malaga airports both serve the area providing inexpensive flights from all over the UK. The area lends itself perfectly to all kinds of activities. Alhama de Granada is built on the edge of a large gorge, which provides a stunning backdrop to low level walking. It can also be the start to more difficult walks into the Sierra Tejeda, with peaks such as La Maroma, which stands at 2068m and has great views of the North African coast. Alhama is situated only 1 hours drive from the Sierra Nevada and Sierra Alpujarras, and close to El Chorro and El Torcal. Both the latter are close to the historical town of Antequera and boast some of the most famous rock formations in Europe.
